Jasmine lodge is just off  highway 6 road in the main part of city  via road overland  from Thailand border and  8 km from airport, 7 km to The Angkor wat temple  and 1$ on the tuk tuk or  10 minutes on foot to old market. it is downtown of  siem reap city used to the colonial french  building  in 1995 , this place was abondoned by khmer people because this area the gorvenment  are not allowed to renovated . and now are using  this area for the culture treasure. Cambodian government have delivered to people who are working in the government for living unfortunately these buildings are not allowed to recontructed and the people thought it will be colapsed one day so they sold it out  and right now is changed  full of Bar and pub street and restaurants are doing new painting which are owned by foreigners from different country like French, Thai, English, Scotish, Irish and Balgium people.
